    8. Declaration of aircraft flying over a congested area of a city, town or settlement, below a height of 1,500 feet above the highest object within 2,000 feet of the aircraft or whichever is the higher.
    9. Declaration of aircraft entering Changi or Seletar Control Zones
    10. A plan of specific area(s) of photography in jpg / gif format not exceeding 1MB must be attached.

TERM AND CONDITIONS

Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully before submitting the application.

1 CRITERIA 

1.1 This application shall be submitted at least seven (7) working days before the starting date of flight. CAAS reserves the right to reject any application submitted less than the required number of days.

1.2 The helicopter company must undertake to ensure that the AP is conducted in compliance with all operational requirements and that the area of operation has adequate suitable emergency landing sites and the specific height and route of intended flight accompanied with a location map must also be forwarded with the on-line application form. Applicant is required to obtain a flying permit from CAAS Air Transport Division prior to application for AP. All flights are subjected to real time Air Traffic Control Clearance. Pilots shall expect delays and holdings.

1.3 Postponement due to inclement weather will be allowed twice only and within seven (7) days from the date of flight. The applicant can only amend the date of flight but not the timing. The particulars of photographers/passengers can only be amended once. On-line notification on the new date and particulars will suffice.


2 APPROVAL

2.1 The AP permit will be issued by CAAS upon clearance by Singapore Police Force and Ministry of Defence; Air Traffic Services Division (for areas involving Changi or Seletar Control Zones only)

2.2 Pending approval, the applicant shall pre-arrange with their handling agents for the application of visitor passes to the Restricted Areas at the Seletar Airport Airside. Please call Koo See Lian of Seletar Airport Operations for queries pertaining to visitor passes at 6481 5781.

2.3 CAAS will notify applicant once the application has been approved. Please call Mohd Fadzil Jakaria at 6541 2419 (fadzil_md_jakaria@caas.gov.sg) or Siti Alawiyah (Ms) at 6541 2435 (siti_alawiyah@caas.gov.sg) for matters pertaining to AP approval


3 PAYMENT

3.1 An AP permit fee of $60 /- per flight will be imposed upon the issuance of permit.

3.2 Successful applicant shall make payment personally at:

CAAS Finance Division
Singapore Changi Airport,
Terminal 2, 4th Storey, #046 - 029
Operating Hours: Monday to Friday(8:30 A.M. - 5:30 P.M.)

*Payment by cash and crossed cheque only. Cheque shall be made payable to "Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore"

4 PROCEDURES BEFORE AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY

4.1 Applicant is required to bring along the AP Permit and NRIC or Passport (for non-Singaporean) on the day of the flight.

4.2 Only photographers whose names appear on the on-line application form are allowed to bring their photography equipment.

4.3 Only photographers and passengers whose names appear on the on-line application form are allowed to board the flight.


5 BREACH OF CONDITIONS

In the event of any infringement of the terms and conditions herein, CAAS reserves the right to withhold and/or revoke its approval of the application.

NOTE: The applicant shall indemnify and keep indemnified the CAAS against all proceedings, actions, claims and demands which may be taken or made against the CAAS and all losses, damages, costs or expenses incurred or payable by the CAAS as a result of death, injury or disability of any person or damage to property, occasioned, caused or contributed to by the applicant's Aerial Photography.
